Michael Guy Bowman is a musician and songwriter from Austin, Texas. He began producing music in 2009 for Homestuck, the most recent incarnation of multimedia-based web comic MS Paint Adventures by Andrew Hussie. Through its label What Pumpkin, Bowman has appeared on numerous compilations of Homestuck material and his own full-length solo album and side project Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido.

Bowman's latest album Ithaca is his first independent solo release and features a variety of sounds and styles from the world of rock and pop music. Following that, the first Bowman band was assembled and made its debut at SXSW 2012.

The most recent Bowman lineup features Clark Powell and Astro Kid. Previous Bowmen include Erik Scheele and Mark Nabors. Among his frequent collaborators are vj, artist, and bellydancer Tavia Morra.
