Ithaca ITHACA

RELEASED 1 JANUARY 2012

Ithaca is an eclectic mix of art rock and electronic experimentation spanning many genres and production styles. The theme of travel and going home is embedded throughout songs that explore different eras in rock and pop music like a retrophiliac shotgun. This is Bowman's first independently-released record, and it features a wide cast of guest musicians from the Homestuck music project and elsewhere.

Old Buggy Now / Ascension / Come With Me / Tacit Blue / Rodeo Clown / Cerulean Skies / Noun / Ithaca / Kalesa in Binondo / Underneath It All / Laughing Forest / The Roamin' Bowman

Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido MOBIUS TRIP AND HADRON KALEIDO

RELEASED 31 MAY 2011

The first Bowman album - this MS Paint Adventures side project explores the expanded universe of Homestuck, featuring nine songs ostensibly by the two characters in its title. Extensively designed by Tavia Morra with additional artwork by Richard Gung, this foray into musical storytelling shares the mythos and non-linearity of Homestuck while also attempting an abstraction unto its own.

The Wanderers THE WANDERERS

RELEASED 14 JULY 2011

A Homestuck side-album focusing on the five exiles who roam the ruined earth in the far future, each bearing the weight of their lost kingdoms as they are faced with forging a new civilization from dust. Tracks explore both arabesque and ambient sounds in defining its characters and the shape of the new world. Bowman tracks include "Aimless Morning Gold", an eerie ode to the Aimless Renegade, and "Ruins Rising", a tribal arrangement of Erik Scheele's "Ruins" from Homestuck Vol. 5.

Homestuck Vol. 7 HOMESTUCK VOL. 7: AT THE PRICE OF OBLIVION

RELEASED 31 MAY 2011

A brief but nevertheless exciting edition of Homestuck tracks including some of the most dramatic material conceived by the team. As Homestuck takes a turn for the dark in its third year, the soundtrack becomes laden with crashing orchestral sounds and a pervasive mood of life-and-death stakes. Bowman tracks "Warhammer of Zillyhoo" and "Maplehoof's Adventure" provide the few moments of comic relief.

Homestuck Vol. 6 HOMESTUCK VOL. 6: HEIR TRANSPARENT

RELEASED 5 JANUARY 2011

An album truly representative of Homestuck's mood - incredible stakes undermined by moments of truly insane horseshit. Tracks seem to alternate between wonder-laden soundscapes and the silliest excesses of the team's imagination. Bowman's sole contribution to this record is a sarcasm-riddled cover of "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", Diane Warren's other famous movie theme, this time augmented by quotes from various other Homestuck themes.

Squiddles! SQUIDDLES!

RELEASED 26 AUGUST 2010

Shamefully characterized as a joke album, perhaps in part because of its charming buildup to a truly horrifying ending, the Squiddles-themed Homestuck side album has some of the most cheerful material in the Homestuck catalog. Bowman contributions include "Tangled Waltz", "Squiddle Samba", and "Mister Bowman Tells You About the Squiddles" among over 20 other songs by various team members.

Homestuck Vol. 5 HOMESTUCK VOL. 5

RELEASED 13 JUNE 2010

The floodgates open! The Homestuck music team unleashes the horde of unused tracks and sets the standard for the "long" Homestuck album. Among the 65 tracks released are a few Bowman tracks including "Greenhouse", the irony-tinged cover of "How Do I Live", as well as string arrangements for Erik Scheele ("Ruins"), vocals for Alex Rosetti ("Hardchorale") and a hilariously short collaboration with Toby Fox ("Happy Cat Song").

Midnight Crew: Drawing Dead MIDNIGHT CREW: DRAWING DEAD

RELEASED 4 FEBRUARY 2010

The first Homestuck side-album features a mix of electronic and lounge sounds to characterize the villainous Midnight Crew. The tracks on this record mimic the sounds of casinos and otherwise seedy fronts, borrowing jazz sounds and imitating any number of classic games. Features Bowman's composition "Lunar Eclipse" and production on "Hauntjam" by Andrew Huo.
